Our method

Analyse. Protect. Execute. Review.

The aim is not to be certain. It is to make the risk visible before the decision is made.

01

Context

Begin on the higher timeframe. Define trend, range and the zones where behaviour could change.

02

Risk

Decide invalidation and maximum account risk before calculating the size of the position.

03

Execution

Write an if/then plan. Act only when the stated condition appears; otherwise there is no trade.

04

Review

Record the decision, execution and emotional state. Evaluate the process across a series of trades.

The pre-trade checklist

Five questions before any order.

  1. 1What is the higher-timeframe environment?
  2. 2What exact condition creates the setup?
  3. 3Where is the idea invalidated?
  4. 4How much of the account is genuinely at risk?
  5. 5Is the potential reward worth that risk after fees?
